Gingrich Tops Iowa Presidential Poll

By: Newsroom Solutions
Updated: December 5, 2011
Newt Gingrich is leading a new poll in Iowa less than a month from that state's caucus.

The NBC News-Marist Poll shows the former House Speaker with 26-percent support among would-be voters in Iowa.

The news comes as Gingrich is expected to get another big push in his bid for the White House.

Fox 5 Atlanta reports former candidate Herman Cain is expected to endorse Gingrich sometime today.

Cain announced Saturday he's suspending his presidential campaign amid allegations of sexual harassment and infidelity.
