New Hampshire Primary Could Happen in December

By: Newsroom Solutions
Updated: October 13, 2011
New Hampshire's presidential primary could be held as early as December this year.

Florida's decision to move its primary up to late January set off a chain reaction, prompting South Carolina and Nevada to move theirs up, as well.

State law requires New Hampshire to hold its primary seven days before any other state.

New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner says that unless Nevada moves its primary from January 14 back to January 17, then he could schedule the state's primary as early as December 6th.
