Schools Eye Approaching Storm; Prepare For Possible Closures

LITTLE ROCK, AR-- Central Arkansas school districts are watching the approaching storm closely.

During the last round of winter weather, some schools had early dismissals. The main reason is because buses are unable to transport students to and from school.

The Pulaski County Special School District says the decision to delay or cancel school will be made with extreme caution.

"When we have the threat of bad weather, we'll activate a plan that includes spotters to go out and evaluate road conditions, so we can make the very best call that we can," said Superinendent Jerry Guess.
