The Arkansas Farm Bureau is organizing meetings with legislators from around the state to make sure agriculture issues aren't ignored this session.
One bill making its way through would give an energy tax break to farmers.
"We would take the sales tax off of propane and natural gas and electricity that goes to these operations to continue, like a poultry house," says Mississippi County farmer Randy Veach.
That bill has 83 cosponsors, so Ag industry insiders say they feel good about their concerns being addressed this legislative session.
