Meet the Razorbacks Day Set for Feb. 9

The Arkansas baseball team will hold its annual "Meet the Razorbacks Day" on Saturday, Feb. 9, at center court of the Northwest Arkansas Mall. The event will run from 4-6 p.m.
 
Now in its 18th year, the event features Arkansas baseball head coach Dave Van Horn and the Razorback baseball team. Fans are encouraged to get autographs and have their pictures made with their favorite players. Autographs are limited to one item per person. The Razorback Diamond Dolls, RBI Girls and Ribby the Mascot will also be on hand for the festivities.
 
Ranked No. 1 in the country in the Collegiate Baseball preseason top 40 poll, Arkansas officially opens practice for the 2013 season this Friday. The Razorbacks open the season on Friday, Feb. 15, at 3:05 p.m. against Western Illinois at Baum Stadium.
 
Season tickets for Arkansas' 34-game home schedule are now on sale. Season tickets are $190 for adults and $140 for University of Arkansas staff, youth and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased by calling 1-800-982-HOGS (4647) or by visiting the online ticket center at ArkansasRazorbacks.com.
