Glasses can be costly and for students needing them and don't have the money to pay for them, that can be even more heartbreaking.

But thanks to the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation, every year students that are low income or have no insurance, receive a voucher for a free pair of glasses.

"Vision is such an important part of what they do in class everyday, if they can't see the board, how are they going to learn, if they can't read their book, makes it much harder, says Maumelle Middle School Nurse Amy Davidson."

For more information check with your child's school nurse on how to get a voucher.

Brandon was a walk on for the Razorbacks, All American, Brandon died just eleven days of being drafted to the Indianapolis Colts in a car accident.
