Jay Bir is "Running with the Pack" in Mobile, Alabam for the 2013 GoDaddy.com Bowl.
It's the second straight year that Arkansas State University has taken over Mobile.
This year the Red Wolves face Kent State.
The Red Wolves held their third practice Friday since getting to Mobile.
It was a very business-like atmosphere at that session, which was conducted like a regular season practice.
A lot of pad popping could be heard, and not many passes were dropped.
The coaches want to send this Senior class out the right way, with a win.
From Interim Head Coach John Thompson:
"There's a little burn in their stomachs right there that, okay, it was well and good last year and everything was fun, but they didn't do what the main objective is, when you come down to one of these things, and its great, it's a reward, it's wonderful, blah, blah, blah, but the point is winning a game."
Offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee:
"You know this senior class has done so many things that have never been done at Arkansas State before and whether those guys win or lose their legacy is cemented, but it would be great to send them out on a right way and a lot of these young guys that we know to get them some momentum moving into the future but we really want it bad for these seniors."
The game is Sunday night. Tomorrow the team will attend a Mobile Mardi Gras Parade.
