North Little Rock businessman Curtis Coleman has filed his papers to establish an exploratory committee in his bid for the Governor's seat.

Coleman, who is CEO of Safe Foods, was an adviser to former GOP Gov. Mike Huckabee and ran for the Arkansas Republican Party nomination for the U.S. Senate in 2010.

In an interview with KARK, Coleman said he believes the political momentum moving forward will shift toward state government solutions.

"The solutions for our country are probably not going to come out of Washington, they are probably going to come out of the states and I hope one of them will be Arkansas," he said.

Thus far, Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, a Democrat, is the only candidate to officially announce he is running for Governor.
