Man Arrested After Telling Police Where to Find Neighbor's Body

North Little Rock Police have arrested a man who earlier told them where to find his victim's body.

According to North Little Rock Police, 60-year-old Jeffrey Averett is facing first-degree murder charges after he walked into the police department and told officers "I think I killed somebody," then telling them where to find the body.

When officers arrived at Averett's apartment, they found a deceased 60-year-old Joann Sessler, his neighbor.

Officers believe she may have been stabbed, but the official cause of death has not yet been determined.
