Federal agents and local police are still trying to pinpoint exactly how some thieves managed to steal bank card information from dozens of Arkansans.

Conway police say they've gotten 50 reports in the past month of people claiming someone racked up fraudulent charges on their credit and debit cards.

Most of those happened over labor day weekend.

The secret service says it's possible the thieves used a skimmer machine to steal bank card data.

Some of the bogus charges happened in states as far as California.
