Two of the three former Razorback football players arrested on burglary charges earlier this year have entered guilty pleas in Washington County Circuit Court.
In May, police say Andrew Peterson (middle in photo), Marquel Wade (left in photo) and Maudrecus Humphrey (right in photo) stole DVD's, laptops, cash and textbooks out of University of Arkansas dorm rooms.
In court today, Peterson and Wade each pleaded guilty to one count of residential burglary and were sentenced to six months in the Department of Community Correction and five years probation.
Humphrey's next court date was pushed back to October 31st.
Original story (August 27):
The trial of three Arkansas football players accused of stealing from fellow students has been postponed.
Marquel Wade, Maudrecus Humphrey, and Andrew Peterson were set to go on trial Monday, but their trial date has been pushed back to Oct. 17.
The three are accused of stealing textbooks, laptops, and cash from university dorm rooms.
Police recovered some of the stolen property from Peterson's room.
Head coach John L. Smith dismissed all three from the team earlier this summer.
They've all pleaded not guilty.
