The hot temperatures claimed another life on Saturday after a 3-year-old boy locked himself in the car.

Benton County deputies say it happened around 5 p.m. on Saturday in the northeast part of Benton County.

Investigators said the 3-year-old boy climbed into the car and couldn't get out.

The Sheriff's office doesn't believe foul play was involved, but the boy will still be sent to the Arkansas crime lab.

The parents were neglectful if the child was out of sight long enough to lock himself ina car and die!

they were probably to busy watching tv or twetting or blogging or texting which is so much more important than watching your child

Where was this baby's parents? Why was he outside in this horrid weather anyway? And, who leaves their cars unlocked now-a-days anyway. The parents should be held responsible and punished no matter what their excuses are. This could have been prevented!

Why was this 3 year old left alone long? How or why was he out of the sight of an adult?
