Olympic Spoiler Alert: Former Razorback Samuel Vazquez Competes in 1500m

Former Razorback Samuel Vazquez lost a qualifying race at the 2012 Olympics this afternoon.
He was trying to secure a spot in the semifinals of the 1500m but finished last in the third of three heats with a time of 3:49:19.
Vazquez is representing his native country Puerto Rico in his first Olympic appearance. He turned in a personal-best performance of 3:37.60 in June to qualify for the 1500m event in London.
Vazquez competed in the 1500m with the Razorbacks in the 2003-04 season.
