Gloria and Lewis Pena say their dog Macy May lived with them for the first year of her life.
But seven years ago, right after her brother was stolen out of this yard, the Yorkshire Terrier was dog-napped!
Recently, the couple received a call from an Amarillo humane society: their long-lost puppy had been found.
"Apparently, someone wanted to adopt her and my husband said, 'Let me discuss this with my wife,' and I told him, 'What is there to discuss? She's my dog and I want her back,'" Gloria Pena says.
The Humane Society was able to track Macy May back to her home through a microchip.
The Penas say the dog was in fairly good condition but more importantly remembered her name, family and home.
