We are now 37 days away from the opening ceremonies of the london summer olympics.
And in this year's games fans and athletes will be welcomed in a big way.
As soon as they step off the plane, visitors will be greeted by Olympic rings the size of a double decker bus. It's all happening at London's Heathrow Airport where passengers arriving Wednesday received a very British Olympic welcome.
And besides the addition of the giant rings, the British Home Office has provided around 500 extra staff members to man immigration desks and cope with the expected 600,000 extra visitors during the games.
Meanwhile, preparations for the opening ceremony are underway at the Olympic Stadium in east London. The director of the movie Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle, is choreographing and planning the event.
