Jerry Sandusky on Trial

Jerry Sandusky faced the first of his accusers on the opening day of his trial.
The witness, now an adult, testified that the former Penn State Assistant Coach sexually abused him as a young teenager, on campus and in hotels.
He also said Sandusky sent him quote "creepy love letters."
The defense claims some of the alleged victims have a financial interest in the criminal case.
Sandusky faces 52 criminal counts of abusing 10 boys over a 15 year period. He has denied all charges.

Special Election for Gabrielle Giffords' Seat

A special election to replace Gabrielle Giffords is happening today.
The Arizona democrat and her husband Mark Kelly have campaigned for her former aide, Ron Barber, to fill her seat in the House of Representatives.
Barber was shot in the leg when Giffords was shot in the head last year.
He faces Republican Jesse Kelly, who lost to Giffords in 2010.
Giffords left Congress to focus on her recovery.
