Beryl Soaks the Southeast

Before being downgraded to a tropical depression, Beryl soaks the southeast.
The weather event once known as Tropical Storm Beryl made landfall in Florida early Monday morning packing near-hurricane-strength winds of 70 miles an hour.
Even as it weakened, the wind and rain from Beryl caused some flooding and damage on Saint Simons Island, Georgia.
Beryl spent much of Memorial Day drenching events across parts of Florida and Georgia.
