Contest Gives Teens Shot at Making National TV Ad

However, studies show that parents can easily lower these numbers. Teens are 50 percent less likely to speed, 71 percent less likely to drink and drive and 29 percent less likely to use a cell phone while driving when parents talk to them about the dangers of doing those things.
Now, teens are being given the opportunity to spread the word. A new contest offers the opportunity to create a public service announcement (PSA) talking about how dangerous it is to drive distractedly. The winning entry will even air across the country.
