The man accused of shooting Trayvon Martin has been released on bail.
George Zimmerman was released from a jail in central Florida just before midnight after posting a $150,000 bail.
He was escorted out by a man who then drove away in a white BMW.
At this point Zimmerman's destination is being kept secret for his safety.
Under the conditions of his bail Zimmerman cannot have any guns, must observe a curfew and surrendered his passport.
John Edwards Trial Set to Begin
The trial is set to begin in North Carolina today for former senator and presidential hopeful John Edwards.
Edwards faces six criminal counts related to nearly one million dollars in secret payments made by two campaign donors to help him hide his pregnant mistress while he ran for president in 2008.
Edwards claims he did nothing wrong.
After years of public denial, Edwards acknowledged paternity of the woman's child in 2010.
The mistress, Rielle Hunter, may testify as part of Edwards' defense.
Jennifer Hudson's Family Murder Trial
The trial is set to begin today in Chicago for the man accused of the 2008 killing of the mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew of Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson.
William Balfour is the estranged husband of Hudson's sister, Julia, and prosecutors say he opened fire on the family because he was jealous of Julia's new boyfriend.
A jury was seated in the case last week.
