Bledsoe and Tate Suspended From Hog Football Team

The following statement was issued after Fred Bledsoe and Michael Tate were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Sophomore offensive guard Fred Bledsoe and redshirt freshman defensive end Michael Tate have been suspended from the Razorback football team it was announced by UA head coach Houston Nutt on Thursday. "Fred and Michael have been suspended from our football team for violating team rules," Nutt said. "A decision on their future with our program will be made after all other appropriate proceedings have been completed. Im disappointed that these bad decisions will not only affect their future, but also reflect poorly on the Razorbacks."
