Man Arrested Following High Speed Chase

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police in Mountain Pine were lead on a high speed chase Tuesday afternoon that at times exceeded 100mph.

Just after 1pm, police tried to pull over a Toyota Camry. The driver took off, leading the authorities on a 20 minute chase. The suspect bailed out of the car around the 2300 block of Highway 227. Police took the suspect, 23-year-old Jasen McDaniel, into custody after a short chase on foot.

According to the Garland County jail's website, McDaniel is charged with fleeing on foot and child support. Bond is listed at $2,500 for the fleeing charge and $8,451 for the child support charge.
