LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Human remains were found inside a burning vehicle Friday in Phillips County, according to the sheriff's office.

Neighbors tell the sheriff's office that they heard an explosion on Poplar Grove, where responders found the burning car.

The identification of the victim is pending tests at the state crime lab.

Investigators with the sheriff's office and Arkansas State Police who are working the case say at least one "person of interest" is being interviewed.
