Carroll County Man Arrested for 1983 Illinois Murder

A Carroll County man has been arrested for a 1983 Illinois murder.
Steven Andrew Watts, 56, was taken into custody at his home near the Dryfork/Osage community on Monday, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
Watts waived extradition back to Dixon, Illinois and deputies of the Lee County Sheriff's Office escorted him out of Arkansas today.
He's charged with first degree murder.
There's no word yet on the details of the killing for which Watts is charged.
