Central Arkansas Car Crashes Kill Two Drivers

In Pulaski County -

A Jacksonville woman died and another man was injured after a head-on collision in Pulaski County.

Kimberly Whitmore, 35, was driving on Highway 107 when she crossed the center line and struck an oncoming SUV.

According to the crash report the roads were clear at the time of the accident.

Police say Whitmore was not wearing her seat belt.

In Hot Spring County -  

Icy road conditions are believed to have played a part in another deadly Arkansas accident.

Thomas Hanley, 66,  of Malvern died in a Saturday morning crash in Hot Spring County.

Arkansas State Police continue to investigate whether a patch of ice on Highway 270 was the cause of the wreck.

According to a police report, another driver hit the ice in a curve and crossed the center line, hitting Hanley's vehicle head-on.
