Two Killed in Jefferson County Accident

Two people are killed after an accident on Highway 270 just west of Highway 104 in Jefferson county.

It happened Saturday just before 1 p.m.

According to Arkansas State Police, Marsha Reed, of Malvern, was driving eastbound when she crossed the center line, crashing head on into a car driven by Edward Beets, of Columbia, Mississippi.

According to the report, Reed was wearing her seat belt at the time of time of the crash. Beets was not.
