Women-in-need in Saline County are one step closer to successful careers.

A new program kicking off Tuesday, the product of several partnerships with Goodwill.

It's a "career closet." The idea: women can take job readiness courses at the Goodwill, then when they're done, they get to come to a specially-created boutique and pick out a well-fitting, professional interview outfit for free.

"Hopefully it's going to help them hold their head high and help them be confident and be successful," said Dianne Jester with Women in Networking and Bank of the Ozarks. Both organizations sponsored the event.

Snag the job and a woman can get yet another professional outfit to start her job right.
