Update: Second Person Dies After Hot Springs Car Accident

A second person has died of his injuries.

After a wreck in Hot Springs...At Martin Luther King and Airways Drive.

Police say 21-year-old Jayna Beverlin had gotten out of the car after wrecking into a concrete wall.

That's when 32-year-old Robert Haney stopped to help -- both were hit by an oncoming vehicle.

Haney was thrown over the divider wall and hit by another car.

Both were taken to a hospital -- where they later died

One person dead-- -- another hurt badly -- after a wreck in Hot Springs late Friday night at Martin Luther King and Airport Road.

Police found two people with severe injuries when arriving on the scene.

One of them later died at a hospital.

The other -- still recovering.
Police are not sure what caused the accident.

The accident is still under investigation tonight
