$250,000 Price Tag on Little Rock's Juanita's Restaurant

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: August 6, 2012
One of Little Rock's most popular restaurants is up for sale, with a $250,000 price tag.

The listing on CraigsList doesn't name "Juanita's," as the "25-year old bar and restaurant business available for purchase," but a call to the number in the ad confirms it.

Co-owner Joe Cates tells KARK 4 News that he's done what he wanted to do with the restaurant and is ready to move on, if he gets the "right money" for the establishment.

The ad, posted on July 26th, states that the restaurant earns $1.4-million a year.

Cates and partner Jim O'Brien have owned the restaurant for two-and-a-half-years. Cates says they've accomplished their goal of cleaning it up and moving it to the River Market.

Cates also wants everyone to know that it's "business as usual" at Juanita's while the owners entertain offers from potential buyers.

The restaurant started out on South Main Street before moving to President Clinton Avenue last year.
