Arkansas Home School Students Allowed to Join Athletic Teams

Arkansas children who are home schooled will soon be able to play athletics on teams of public schools.

The Arkansas Activities Association voted today to approve the idea with a start date of the 2013-2014 school year.

Why would you want to deny a child an opportunity to play a sport? The parents already help pay for the schools through taxes so they're not getting something for nothing, if that's what you're worried about.

if they want to play on the teams then should have to go to the school
