The Arkansas Razorbacks came into Thursday evening needing one win to make it to the College World Series finals, but South Carolina took advantage of Randall Fant's struggles scoring two early runs to win the game 2-0.

With the win the Gamecocks force a deciding game with the Razorbacks on Friday night with the loser going home and the winner taking on Arizona in the best of three CWS Championship.

Arkansas had several chances to get back into the game but base running mistakes hurt the Hogs all night.

The elimination game between the Hogs and the Gamecocks is Friday night at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

Stay tuned to the Razorback Nation for more on this game and for previews of Friday night's game throughout the day on Friday.
