The defense is expected to rest in the Jerry Sandusky case today. If the former Penn State coach takes the stand in his own defense, it will happen in the day ahead.
The former coaches' wife took the stand Tuesday, denying any knowledge of her husband's alleged crimes.
The judge says the defense is on track to rest by lunch time. The jury could have the case as early as tomorrow afternoon.
Contempt Hearing for Attorney General
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will consider a report holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.
The hearing stems from his refusal to produce documents related to the Fast and Furious gun-running program. Today's committee vote would still need to pass the full house.
Preventing Bounties in the NFL
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Senator Dick Durbin will hold a news conference this afternoon to talk about bounties in professional football.
Players and coaches with the New Orleans Saints were suspended after the league accused the team of awarding cash for big hits.
Goodell and Durbin are expected to discuss possible reforms to prevent bounty systems in the future.
