Razorbacks to Face Kent State in College World Series

The Arkansas Razorback baseball team is preparing to open play against Kent State in the 2012 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Razorbacks (44-20) are coming off a couple of dramatic finishes against Number 4 Baylor in the Waco Super Regional.

This is the Razorbacks' first time to reach the College World Series since 2009 and the seventh time in program history.

Arkansas is 9-12 all-time in the College World Series.

Kent State (46-18) achieved their first College World Series in program history after defeating Number 5 Oregon to claim the Eugene Super Regional.

The Golden Flashes won both the Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular season and conference titles.

Arkansas and Kent State will play at 4 p.m. Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.

The game will be televised on ESPN.
