Pointing Pellet Gun At Police Lands Woman Behind Bars

A woman is behind bars after pointing a gun at police.

Bella vista police officers say neighbors complained that Laurianne Demers of Bella Vista was shooting a pellet gun at their home on witham street Thursday afternoon.

According to a report, when officers showed up, Demers hid from them behind a couch pointed her gun at them, then told police she was a member of the United Nations.

Demers is now in jail, facing charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.
