Yell County Man Killed When SUV Goes Off Highway, Hits Tree

A Yell County man was killed early Monday when his SUV left Highway 27 in Chickalah.

Arkansas State Police say it happened just after midnight, claiming the life of James D. Sisk, of nearby Belleville.

Troopers say Sisk's Ford Explorer was headed north when it went off the road and hit a tree.

According to the accident report, Sisk was not wearing a seat belt.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
