An event that combines golf and charity will help a kids program in Little Rock next month.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) KIDS FIRST program will hold its 2nd Annual KIDS FIRST Golf Bash on June 8th.

The four-man scramble will raise money to improve playgrounds at 11 KIDS FIRST clinics across the state.

The event, open to the public, will be held at the Greens at North Hills, 7400 Highway 107, in Sherwood. (The rain delay date is June 22, 2012).

The entry fee is $75 per person, which includes green fees, cart and lunch. Appropriate golf attire and soft spikes are required. The event begins at 11 a.m. with lunch, followed by the scramble at noon with awards announced at 4:30 p.m.

For more information or to register, call 1-800-374-3620 or email Renee Morgan at morgancarolynr@uams.edu or Kym Jablonski at jablonskikimberlym@uams.edu.

KIDS FIRST, based at the UAMS Department of Pediatrics in the College of Medicine, is Arkansas' first pediatric daily treatment program for children ages birth to 5 with special health care needs.
