Fire destroyed a home in the 11000 block of Mona Lane in Pulaski county Saturday afternoon.

The person who lives there believes someone is trying to get him because he's a sex offender.

Pulaski County deputies are now investigating and haven't determined if an arsonist sparked the blaze.

The man who lived there also said it could possibly be an electrical issue.

A dog, we're told, died in the fire. No other injuries were reported. The home is a total loss.

Just because this man is label as a level 4 [censored] offender does not mean a thing. I happen to know 3 level 4- One is a 55 year old mentally [censored] man, He told the Assessment people that he needed his hearing aid. They would not let him have them, His crime was %u201CHe touch a lady on her [censored]%u201D He could not hear the questions. So he was being unincorporated. The other guy was deaf and needed someone to help him; they would not allow an extra person in the room. The third person was an 18 year man, who had [censored] with his NOW wife. So Even if this man is label a level 4 how can anyone be sure. And to burn his house down, just because he is a [censored] offender. Would you burn any of these other guys house down? Someone might. Just because their names and address are on the register. I know of the 3 mean, 2 of them have family who live with them, their life would be in danger. We need to get rid of the register; just so Stupid people don%u2019t take the law in their own hands.
