Pine Bluff Police Investigate Pedestrian Fatality

A man is dead after he was hit and killed on highway 65B Friday afternoon. 

Police say Bobby Gill, Jr. was walking along University Avenue when he was struck by a car driven by Terry Gere around 2:40 p.m.

Gere's 1997 Crown Victoria was traveling east on the road when the accident happened.

Police tell us Gill was pronounced dead at the scene. Gere was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident is still under police investigation.
