A Clinton Junior High school employee was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Van Buren County. He is the third employee to be arrested in that county in recent days.
Coach and teacher Lance Campbell was picked-up by State Police Wednesday and booked into the Van Buren County Jail.
Prosecutor Cody Hiland says on Thursday he will formally charge Campbell with 1st Degree Sexual Assault, in this case defined as: "sexual intercourse or deviant activity when the victim is a minor and the subject is an employee of a school district."
Last week, Kevin Widener, a resource aide at Clinton High School was also arrested for having sex with an underage person. An employee at another Van Buren County district is also facing sexual assault charges for acts on a minor.
