The family of a Russellville man, 73, claims he was roughed up by Sheriff's Deputies and arrested on his own property, when he followed up on suspicious activity.
Jim Parrish says he was checking into a car that sped across his land Saturday when he says he was blinded by a police light.
Authorities were responding to a fight at a trailer on his property when he ran into a culvert, they assumed he was drunk.
Parrish and witnesses claim multiple deputies slammed him to the ground, he was charged with public intoxication.
KARK tried to contact authorities about the incident but they were tied up with an emergency at the time and unable to respond to our request.
