Lance Brauman Resigns From UA Following Guilty Verdict

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Assistant track and field coach Lance Brauman has resigned his position with the University of Arkansas effective immediately it was announced by UA track and field coach John McDonnell on Wednesday. "Coach Brauman has resigned his position as an assistant coach with our program," McDonnell said. "Following the verdict this afternoon, he submitted his resignation and I accepted it." Brauman recently completed his fourth season with the program He was found guilty for his involvement with a scheme to pay athletes at Barton County Community College.
