Treat Your Wife
Guys, we know you really
want to let your wife know how much you appreciate her on Mother's Day. ArkansasMatters.com
and KARK 4 have put together some great Mother's Day ideas for dads that are
guaranteed to make the leading lady in your life feel special on Mother's Day.
Draw your wife a bubble
bath, light some candles and put on some music. Keep the kids occupied (maybe
buy them a new video tape to watch). This allows mom to relax and enjoy a
little piece of spa-living right at home.
Make her a candlelight
dinner. Even if it's a simple meal, your wife with love the work you put into
making her dinner. And she will enjoy a well deserved break from the kitchen. After
dinner, don't forget to do the dishes while she relaxes on the couch with the
remote control. Believe me guys; she will be in Mother's Day heaven!
Flowers are always a
wonderful way to thank your wife for always being there for you and your
family. Mix it up when it comes to flowers: don't just go for the red roses
with baby's breath. Consider buying a half-a dozen roses and add some tulips or lilies to give
your bouquet a different look. You can do this yourself at home, or ask a florist
to help you. Check the meaning of flowers in this section to use the language of flowers to convey a special message.
Arrange a lunch date with
her friends: surprise her with a lunch date! Get in cahoots with some of the
husband's of your wife's friends. Make plans ahead of time for all the dads to
baby sit for the kids so the mom's can go out to a nice lunch. Go ahead and
make a reservation for them. She'll be most grateful for the splurge, and still
get to enjoy most of the day with the people that matter most to her-you and
the kids.
Take a family picture. It is
rare when the entire family is in the shot at the same time as one of you seems
to always be behind the camera taking the picture. This Mother's Day, arrange a
photo session with the entire family all dressed up and looking good. It's a
gift that your wife will be sure to cherish and enjoy for the rest of her life.
Here is a wonderful idea for
husbands to do for their wives each Mother's Day. Get one of those huge cards
and have the kids put their hand print on it with paint. Your wife will love
these cards because it shows how each child has grown from the previous year.
Guys, your wife would love
to sleep in a little for Mother's Day and be able to get ready without anyone
bothering her. Occupy the kids and allow your wife takes an extra long shower,
fix her hair and put on makeup without any interruptions.
