Hog Fans Alert: Limited Number of Season Tickets for Razorback Stadium Games
By: Arkansas Today
Updated: July 2, 2012
Less than 400 season tickets remain available to the public for the Razorbacks' on-campus football schedule.
The Fayetteville season ticket package starts at $300 and features six games, including defending national champion Alabama on Sept. 15 and defending SEC champion LSU on Nov. 23. The other games inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium this season are the season opener against Jacksonville State on Sept. 1, Rutgers on Sept. 22, Kentucky on Oct. 13 and Tulsa for Homecoming on Nov. 3.
Only about 150 single seat season tickets ($300) remain for purchase in the main seating bowl. Arkansas has already broken its record for number of season tickets sold, eclipsing the mark set in 2008.
A limited number of season tickets are also available for the east indoor club ($900) and south indoor club ($600).
We want to encourage fans to take advantage of the remaining availability of season tickets while they last," Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. "With season tickets nearly sold out and with the visiting teams taking their full allotments, single game tickets will not be available for the general public for several of the marquee games this season including Alabama and LSU.
"We also want fans that have not had an opportunity to purchase season tickets in Little Rock previously, to secure their seats for our home schedule at War Memorial Stadium. We want Razorback fans to know, now is the time to act to reserve your seats for the 2012 Razorback Football season."
The Little Rock season ticket package is $120 for games against Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 8 and Ole Miss on Oct. 27. The Razorbacks and Rebels are set to square off inside War Memorial Stadium for the 16th time in series history, including the first meeting in 1913, and the first time since 1992.
Tickets for Fayetteville and Little Rock games may be bought online (click here) or by calling the UA Ticket Office at 800-982-HOGS.
