Working from Home at Risk of Becoming a Thing of the Past

So far, the policy remains popular with some companies.
Some workforce experts argue against the idea, saying at-home workers run the risk of distractions, such as kids and pets.
Others remain in support of the idea.
Wells Fargo Chief Economist, John Silivia says, "It does offer, for a lot of workers, flexibility with respect to their time schedule and, again, perhaps for some people who work part-time or family situations, it is a good option."
Currently, about half the companies in the country allow telecommuting or flex work plans.
