Update: Conway Police Officer Hit by Car has Died

The Conway Police Department has issued the following news release regarding the death of Officer William McGary:
It is with great sadness we announce that Officer William McGary passed away shortly after 5 pm.
Please continue to keep his family in your prayers. CPD has spent the past day with the McGary family, they are very proud that he was a member of the Conway Police Department and appreciative of all the outpouring of support. The presence of all the officers and other members of our agency has helped them through this difficult time. Please continue to offer them love and support in the days ahead.
