New Social Media Site Created for Neighborhoods

It may sound a bit strange, but the social networking site "Nextdoor" allows neighbors to communicate without leaving their homes.

Right now about eight communities in Little Rock use the site to help them find babysitters and form safety plans.

"For neighborhoods that have housing associations, this is a perfect way for them to communicate with their neighborhood and make the neighborhood feel like more of the community," says Nextdoor user Tony Brighter.

Nextdoor pages are only accessible by people who have proved they live in the neighborhood.
