Thanksgiving might be over, but who can resist one more chance at some sweet potato pie?

The Mosaic Templar's Cultural Center had their first ever Sweet Potato Pie contest, showcasing local baker's work.

Area choirs also provided music during the contest to kick off the holiday season.

The event also promoted a good cause, as guests filled, "Stop the Violence" boxes with toy donations.
