A Jefferson County alderman is accused of some dirty politics.

A man told Pine Bluff police he saw Glen Brown, Sr. take a political sign for mayoral candidate Debe Hollingsworth out of the ground, and throw it into a field. That witness followed Brown until police could reach him.

Brown denied throwing the sign, but said he had been in the area, and had just left a debate earlier that evening. Police pointed out to Brown that his car and license plate matched the description they received from the witness.
