Riverfest Releasing Limited Number of Tickets for $10

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: February 18, 2013
Beginning Monday, Riverfest is releasing a limited block of $10 tickets to the general public for the 2013 Memorial Day weekend event.

Up to four tickets per person may be purchased at this special rate, available through Friday, March 22, or until they sell out - whichever occurs first. They are available for purchase exclusively online at www.riverfestarkansas.com.

"This limited number of tickets has been set aside at a greatly reduced rate to make it even more affordable for families to take part in Arkansas' largest festival," said DeAnna Korte, Riverfest executive director. "But when they are gone, they are gone, so the public is encouraged to act quickly."

As in previous years, half-price tickets will be available at Walgreen's stores beginning April 1 for $17.50. The 2013 gate price of admission is $35. Children 6 and under are free.

Musical acts, special attractions and other family-friendly entertainment details will be announced later this spring.
