Opening statements and testimony began Tuesday in a double murder case against Richard Conte.

Conte is facing two capital murder counts for the deaths of Carter Elliott and Timothy Robinson in Elliott's Conway home more than a decade ago.

Tuesday, prosecutors also called two witnesses who discovered the bodies.

The trial in Faulkner County Circuit Court was delayed, though, due to weather. It will resume Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
