A weekend traffic accident in Fayetteville has left one man dead and two others injured.

It happened just after midnight Sunday along Wedington Drive near the intersection of Golf Club Drive.

According to the Arkansas State Police (ASP) accident report, a 2008 Chevrolet SUV headed east on Wedington crossed the center line, overcorrected, crossed over again and went off the road, rolling several times. The report noted that the road was wet and weather conditions were windy and cold at the time of the accident.

The ASP identifies the man killed as Zachary T. Hagen, 20, of Fayetteville, a passenger in the vehicle. The accident report noted he was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the SUV, Kenneth Sizemore, 20, of Springdale and another passenger, Griffith Smith, 20, of West Fork were taken to a Fayetteville hospital. Their conditions are not known.

A witness reported seeing the vehicle veer over and hit a curb in the westbound lane near an apartment complex before the driver over corrected and the vehicle flipped several times.

One of the occupants was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle.
